The restaurant offers different dishes, but highly recommended is the fish of the day, often the mojarra from Lake Suchitlán, served with grilled vegetables, rice and tortillas. What started as a restaurant, grew into a true hotspot, where many locals come to take a picture on the platform with the famous chair, overlooking the Izalco volcano. The restaurant of Casa 1800 can be therefore quite busy, especially on weekends. It is more quiet in the evening. The restaurant’s menu consists of many chicken and meat dishes, but they are willing to prepare vegetarian dishes as well.
Surroundings
Casa 1800 Los Naranjos is located along La Ruta de las Flores, a beautiful route along coffee fields, waterfalls and small villages with flowers, street art, markets and shops in El Salvador. In Juayua, you can try local dishes at the weekly food market. It is also possible to go on a spectacular hike along 7 different waterfalls. A highlight is the waterfall climb, where you ascend a 55-meter high waterfall.

Casa 1800 in Ataco is the fourth hotel of this fine boutique chain. I did not spend the night at this Casa 1800 myself, but I did visit Ataco. Ataco is a pleasant village located along La Ruta de las Flores and worth a visit. You will find beautiful cobblestone streets, a plaza with a church, countless restaurants, shops and lots of colorful street art. And I am sure that this Casa 1800 will not disappoint you either.
