I’m Deborah Durrfeld and it is so nice to meet you! As a travel reporter, producer and tour guide, I have been traveling around the world for the last 20 years, looking for the most scenic places and stories that are worth sharing.
I visited most countries in Latin America dozens of times to produce travel documentaries for BBC World among others, and guide travelers around. And Asia and Europe followed.
After working years for international broadcasters and premium brands such as National Geographic, MTV, Travel Channel, ZDF, FOX, HBO, Red Bull TV, Absolut, and Harman Kardon, it was time to shift things around and start my own Passport the World. What started as an idea to share my passion for Central and South America, grew into an international platform with a loyal readership, social media following and network of collaborators.
Besides creating creation, I’m hosting travel conferences and seminars, create and sell customized trips around the world, and teach ambitious people how to make travel a business.
